— Regular meetings to learn about robotics.
Saturday, January 7, 2017
The new competition game will be announced on a live NASA video
stream. The team is still discussing whether to watch it in Winthrop or to
travel down to the University of Southern Maine for the
Maine Kickoff Event.
Afterward, we will receive our official 2017 F.R.C. Robotics Kit. This is the start of the 6 week build season.
The student provides the name and email address of a parent or guardian
to a Team Mentor.
A Team Mentor enters the email address of the parent or guardian into the
F.R.C. system. An invitation is automatically sent to
the parent or guardian by the F.R.C. system when it is entered.
The parent or guardian must create an account on the F.R.C. system
and use that account to fill out the student’s information, including
the student’s email address.
The student will receive an invitation from the F.R.C. system to join the team. The student must create an account on the
F.R.C. system and use that account to accept the
invitation and request to join the team.
Team Mentors will automatically receive notification from the
F.R.C. system that the student has accepted the
invitation and requests to join the team. A Team Mentor will approve
the request through the F.R.C. system.
The student is now an official member of the team!
